The registration for GST would be starting on 25th June.

Here's a List of documents required for GST Registration for INDIVIDUAL for your reference:


01. Passport Size Photo
02. Active E-mail ID
03. Current Mobile Number
04. PAN card of the Individual
05. Aadhar Card of the Individual
06. ID proof of the individual:  (Passport/ Voter ID card/ Driving License.)
07. Address proof of Office premises: (any 2)

  1. Electricity Bill/ Landline Telephone bill,
  2. Municipal Tax copy,
  3. Rent/Lease agreement (in case premises are rented)
  4. Consent letter (In case premises of relatives),
  5. Any Certificate or Record from Government Dept,

08. Address proof of Residence of Individual: (any 2)

  1. Electricity Bill/ Landline Telephone bill,
  2. Municipal Tax copy,
  3. Rent/ Lease agreement (in case premises are rented)
  4. Consent letter (In case premises of relatives),
  5. Any Certificate or Record from Government Dept,

09. Proof of Business : ( Registration Certificate / SSI License / Shop Act Licence / NOC )
10. Cancelled Cheque of Bank Account showing Name of account Holder, MICR Code, IFSC Code & Bank Branch Details.
11. First Page of Pass book or Bank Statement.
12. Digital Sign of Authorized Signature ( DSC Digital signature )
13. Authority Letter

Please Note:-

1. PIN would be sent to the E-mail ID and Mobile Number given which is to be given for verification
2. Please ensure that you have updated your mobile number in your Aadhar.
3. The Validation Process would take three working days and if no error is found, RC will be issued.

Important information Related to GST Registration Certificate by

1. If you are a Taxpayer having received Acknowledgement Reference Number (ARN Number):

You should be able to download the Provisional Registration Certificate from “Download Certificates” at GST website from 27th June 2017.

2. If you are a Taxpayer, who has saved the enrolment form with all details but has not submitted the same with DSC, E-Sign or EVC:

You will receive the ARN at your registered email ID, if the data given are successfully validated after 27th June 2017.In case of validation failure (data like PAN not matching), you should be able to login at the same portal from 27th June 2017 onwards and correct the errors. You can refer the registered email for details of the errors.

3. If you are a Taxpayer, who has partially completed the enrolment form:

You can login at the portal on the above mentioned date and complete the rest of the form.

4. If you are not an existing Taxpayer and wish to register newly under GST

You would be able to apply for new registration at the GST portal from 25th June 2017.

How to Download GST Certificate
For downloading the Registration Certificate, perform the following steps:

1. Login to the GST Portal with the valid credentials.
2. Click the Services > User Services > View or Download Certificates command.
3. The View / Download Certificates page is displayed. Click the Download button to download the certificate.
Open the downloaded certificate to view the Registration Certificate.
